How to give constructive feedback
Give your feedback in three steps
1. Your objective observation of the behaviour
2. What effect does the behaviour have on you as an audience?
3. What active suggestion do you give the presenter for the next presentation?
Start by saying what is positive about the presentation and the presenter’s behaviour.
Even when it seems obvious it is very helpful to know what skills you have already developed!
PLEASE NOTE
- Talk about specific behaviour/no general remarks on the person
- Give active suggestions by saying what you should instead of what you shouldn’t
